Started playing WoW again. Man game is just too odd now. Quit two years ago. Not sure ill stay.

I haven't posted anything here recently, but since I decided to update my computer set-up a bit, here's my updated set-up.

My old set-up was posted somewhere in this thread. It was in an Antec 300 mid tower case. It didn't have the best cable management in the world, and the case fans and switches were starting to give me trouble. Plus I wanted USB 3.0 on my case and not just on the MoBo I/O on the back, so I upgraded.

My current set-up is:
-Case: Corsair Carbide 400C (picked up this month)
-Asus p8z77-V
-i5-3570K
-16GB of RAM from G.Skill
-Samsung 850 Evo 500gb SSD, running Windows 10
-Video Card: EVGA GTX 970 SC (been running this for a while now. Works great on my big screen at 1080p and still does good on my 1440p monitor as well)
-New AIO CPU liquid cooler: Corsair H100i v2 (picked up this month)
-Some new case fans from Corsair (picked up this month)
-Corsair Strafe RGB mechanical keyboard with Cherry Red Switches (I splurged this summer, ok?)
-Logitech G9X mouse (still love this mouse. I have been using it since 2011)

Now... ask me why after all this, I decided to replay Skyrim for some reason. Idk. But I never did play it once all the expansions came out, so I started a new character from scratch and am already sucked back in...

I played through the majority of the Warlords of Draenor raid content before my last exit from the game... I had fun for a while. WoW is something the Mrs. and I like to play from time to time, but when it grows stale again, we leave. WoD was allowed to get too stagnant. Also, it was extremely weird to start new characters. It was the first time I had done that since Burning Crusade.

I had one of these (27" not 25") before and it lasted about 18 months before it failed. At this price I know it is a disposable item but I am happy to pay. It took a while to get the colour and contrast sorted but it is all good now. There is a uniform background IPS glow on a black screen but there is no discernible edge bleed.
It is a noticeable step up from 24" 1980x1080.

The graphics card still is on back order.

I am so looking forward to this game.

Had this monitor for about a year. Really nice. Would not of got it but a buddy split the cost of it with me for my wedding gift.

Its nice but I could never get past the Nvidia tax on it.

No doubt there! Any monitor with G-sync costs a small fortune. If my buddy had not made me that offer no way would I have it.

This! I haven't been so excited for a game in years. The first Deus Ex in this story arc was amazing and this looks no different. Also, Dishonored 2 looks like it's gonna be a hell of a good time.
