very interesting point, I can recall going through the same steps on my car for mounting the fuse box and power steering computer, also the cable to open hood and gas door. Your setup is very clean as always.

I am still open for a full diagram of the kill switch
I see that you have an additional red wire in there ? I assume going straight to the alternator. But i see on the left side of the battery the OEM positive terminal, what's up with that one ?

One side is the battery and alternator, the other side is the fuse box and starter. Can't just give you a wiring diagram, that'd be too easy.

Sometimes having a 3D printer in the shop helps you find some pretty unique solutions.

Since we've removed the AC, we don't need the thermostat and blend knobs. We're keeping the heater core and fan for defrost, though, so we needed a new place to put the fan speed knob. We also wanted to move the Coolshirt pump switch and @Beastronix 86Nanny to a better location since the lower console is gone.

Any guesses what the big rectangular hole is?

As usual impressive skill set !

As for the hole, looks like iPhone size but I would be surprised as to what would be its purpose... may be to use as a display for something, but considering OBD is already tapped by the AIM system... I am curious

Fire system is installed! We went with a 10lb SPA Extreme system, which uses Novec 1320. Think Halon, but safer.

We put the handle in place of the left-most AC vent, so it's easily reached by both the driver and a cornerworker outside the car.

We mounted the bottle at the base of the passenger seat, with one nozzle below the dash pointed at the driver.

Then there's two nozzles in the engine bay, one pointed at each cylinder head, roughly.

The two final nozzles are mounted to the chassis itself, aimed at both sides of the fuel tank.

You can also kind of see our new seat mounting base we're about to release. The first pair looked good, but we want to make a few small changes. We'll make a new thread for them, and post a link here when it's up.

Also, no one's correctly guessed what the rectangular hole in the dash is for yet.

Oh yeah, and the VAC billet seat mounts didn't work at all. Didn't bolt to the car, and we weren't happy at all with how the secured to the front mount, considering the angle between them. We're returning them.

Prototype seat mount installed! We also added a harness mounting bolt to the transmission tunnel, with a reinforcement plate on the backside. Any harness installation in these cars should be done this way, attaching to the seat mount just isn't safe.

Since nobody got it right, here's a picture. Center net! You can also see the Coolshirt switch and Beastronix Dash Nanny button.

Are those anti-sub mounting point 20 degrees back? Looks like they are more like 0 degree. Also those plates are tiny- do you have more reinforcement on the other side?

Not sure what you mean by the angle. This is a rear profile view, but it sounds like you're talking about the side profile view, in which case, yes, they're offset to the rear enough.

The plates are 2" x 3" and welded to the chassis. That's a total of 12 inē between the two of them, and the minimum size for a roll cage landing plate is 9 inē per NASA 15.6.14, for comparison's sake.

More reinforcement on the other side wouldn't help when they're fully welded to the chassis already. The shear area is already maximized. If you look at the total perimeter area of the reinforcement plates (≈20"), and the shear strength of mild steel (UTS*0.577), you'll see they'll have no problem holding in the weight of a driver, even at absolutely brutal deceleration rates.
