It will probably be in August. Normally it tries to correlate with the 8/6 date.

Edit.....Shneegle asked me if I’d again help line up group leaders for this year’s 86 Day 3SIST3Rs run on 8/6/16 out in the Leakey area and pretty sure we can count on TEWwild, AteMyShorts and Zubit from our S.A. area to lead some 10-15 car groups. Anyone else interested please post up on the 86 day thread or PM me or Shneegle to ask questions, etc. Only real requirement is to be familiar with the course and be aware of the do’s, don’ts, and routine stops to make along the way. For all the new 86 owners out there…the Twisted Sisters run is a blast! Don’t hesitate to join us on 86 Day!!!

Sorry in advance for the thread necromancy, but it looks like this is the best place to ask.

Any upcoming meets in SAT? I just become a BRZ owner around Christmas and I've seen a few cars around town on the highway but I would love to meet some of the owners and generally get to know the local crew. I've been doing RR-470 and Twisted Sisters solo and have seen a few other drivers on my way out towards Bandera, but it looks like most of the meets in the area I've found online are targeted towards classics/muscle.
