Out of all of the Japanese branded exhausts, your exhaust definitely sounds and looks the best. Nice throaty sound w/out the high end crackle and snap like all of the sample clips. I'm older so I'm over all of the blue burnt tips, the super huge tips and mufflers and especially the high snap and cracking exhaust sounds. This is coming from some who hears 600cc/750cc and 1000cc motos redlining at 14-16K.

They just put that ISIS catback together as a prototype and they are sending it off for mass production now. I dont think they had a chance to dyno it.
But I'm definitely going with ISIS because I'm good friends with the guy who fabricated it (Plus I like the sound) and I'm sure it will be more inexpensive than the others. |

I would really like to see Akrapovic make an exhaust system for this car since their automotive systems are still limited to euro and higher end performance cars.
Maybe if we make enough noise, they might push for a BRZ/86/FR-S application! http://www.akrapovic.com/en/news/pages/usa-customer-and-marketing-support.aspx?archivefilter=2009~9&catid=9174effb-603c-4a25-985a-82b8d3294c32 16. Tough choices, but I would like to see a more better videos of the TRD and not recorded inside a garage.
Until then I like #1 Autofactory #2 TRD and #3 Greddy at Cars and Coffee video(Not sure of what set up that is). But which one improves the power the most? And what are their costs? |

Of all these, my favorite has got to be the Auto Factory Aftermarket exhaust. The sounds remind me of the "traditional" boxer rumble sounds I hear when STIs/WRXs drive by. How much $$$$?

Amuse
For the Amuse video
I can read the Kanji (Chinese characters) and some Japanese words: Here's a rough translation: 00:48: on his board, it reads 1st column - *I'm guessing stock everything* 2nd column - high grip tire exchange 3rd column - suspension strengthen 4th column - muffler and seat weight savings 00:51: Muffler *Pretty self explanatory* weight - Factory 18kg (39lbs), Amuse 9kg (39lbs) MINUS 9kg in Weight savings! Amuse R1 Titanium Muffler (prototype) complete! 00:55: Seats *Throne? something weight savings, also self explanatory here* Normal 19.4kg (43lbs) / Recaro Carbon 10.4kg (23lbs) seat rim/bracket included) Drivers and passenger seats combined weight savings of 18kg (39lbs) 00:57 Power Chart *in red* muffler mod 215.2ps, 24.6kgm *in black* stock 182.8ps, 21.4kgm Approx. 30 HORSEPOWER POWER-UPooo! *literally* 00:58 Rear Seat / Rear interior *bonet?* / trunk *throw member? Total 23kg (50lbs) Muffler / Front Seat / Rear *something... probably seats* MINUS 50kg (110lbs)Weight Savings! *no idea about the next bit* 1:11 more torque with muffler mod. Hope some REAL japanese speakers can fill in the blanks/school me, lol |

I'll take the Perrin exhaust with some nice rolled/double wall exhaust tips that aren't too big. The others are either too loud, too raspy, or too expensive.

I should of posted this in here probably so heere goes,
Could all the Exhaust developers use a setup similar to Auto Factory's, I find that tho Perrins was pretty good with the incabin drive, the auto factory gave setup gives me the best idea of how the exhaust will sound, you can clearly hear if shift thru a few gears while its gaining distance but yet camera stays directly behind the car. and on there second video they show down shifting but still from behind and you can clearly hear the tone and everything. I just find the exhaust videos too different. ill be honest I love both the Perrin and Accelerated but based on there videos auto factory sells it best cause i feel I get the best idea of what its really gonna sound like. |

I never realized we've gotten so many exhausts in such a short period of time. Im still fighting between perrin and accelerated performance when it comes to exhaust/intake.
