Got my 17x8.25 +35 finally mounted on stock tires with RCE yellow springs . The offset and gap is peeeerfect! The tires have a slight stretch but it looks pretty damn good imo.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1449372124957.jpg

Had the 527's on for almost a year now! I thought they might get a little old as the car progressed but i still love them

RCE Yellow, SPC Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, SPC Adjustable Rear LCA.

XXR 527 Wrapped with MPSS 245/45/17. Muteki 48 M12x1.25 open ended tuner lug nuts.

-2.0 Front Camber. -1.5 Rear Camber

Wheel/tire to spring/spring perch clearance of about 1/2".

Onboard Digital Speedometer reading is still spot on vs. a speedometer app on my phone up to 72mph. Didn't go any faster to check when i'll be consistently 1 mph faster on the app than the car's speedometer.

I just can't seem to look at my car the same way I look at other people's. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Maybe chromium black + dark grey metallic isn't such a good combo. Should I go gold? silver? black?

What do you think is missing? I feel like a simple lip kit and maybe some camber would really help complete my setup.

How does this look so far? I'm only on springs atm.

Looks fine. Get a STI replica front lip and rear diffuser to top it off.

@trigger happy, do you have any more pics of your FR-S? IMHO, it is one of the best looking FR-S's I've seen to date! Very tastefully done.

Yes I have a bunch and thank you for the compliment. I know I don't have 3k wheels and don't have any crazy mods but for the money I have in the car I'm happy with it. It's fun, dependable, and looks great IMO.

I'm starting to think having stock tires slightly stretched on 17x8.25 isn't a great idea...it's so much easier to curb/knick the rims since there's not enough tire width protecting the edges. :/

Welp...thank god it's cheap so I can replace the passenger side rims when it looks like a dinosaur chewed all over my rims.

i just bought new tires so i really want to keep them. currently i have stock wheels (17x7 +48 i believe is the offset). XXR makes the 530 in a 17x7 but the offset is +30. anyone running this or a similar set up? if so how does it look? everyone on here has a wider wheel and it looks sick, but as i said im trying to keep a 7 inch width if possible. thanks yall

Can you replied the pics or can you send them to me? I'm planning on getting the same setup.

I can't find a straight answer in this thread...

What is the weight of the 527 in a 18x8.75?
