car dead after turbo

guys I'm in need of some help.
I just finished installing my turbo, and flex fuel kit.
When I try to turn on the car it hesitates but eventually turns on.
But my gauges are not moving it's showing as i have no gas and it's at 0 rpm.
If I press on the gas pedal the car turns off.

Any idea what this can be?

I would see if you can get a 91 tune and take the e85 off and drain the tanks and see if it is the turbo or E85 causing problems.

I would try reflashing the ecu. Where did you get the tune from?

I know of a car that and a grounding issue of some sort after a turbo install. Don't know what they did to fix it.

1 Re-flash ECU, 2 check ground on Ecm mounted on motor. 3 Check wiring connections on the engine Main harness.

Hail Mary, disconnect battery and pray but I'm leaning towards options 3

If the dash is dead and car wont even start then its looks suspect.

does the key symbol go green or remain in lock or yellow. If so the car may not be reading key code. Try another key or key fob .

The ECM (electronic control module0 under hood is the Direct Injection controller, the ecu (engine control unit) is under the kick pannel inside the car probably drivers side on usa cars.

Yep try reflashing ECU or try reading obd error codes, if you cannot reflash ecu or read odb codes then ecu is bricked or no power to ecu ect.

check ecu fuses ect

Three things have to talk before car will start , Aurthetication module reads key code then its got to talk to dash and ecu, then the little key symbol will go green and you can start car if all else is ok.

Check battery volts

Its possible you may be able to "unbrick" the ECU with this proceedure. This may work as the ecu has two flash areas the User ROM area and a Boot area. Generally you only write to the User ROM. If you have somehow written looping code to the User rom your probably snookered.

It if you believe you have bricked the ecu and tried re-writing without turning car ignition off and its still failed

Then try this procedure first

1. Switch off ignition
2. Remove negitive battery terminal
3. Depress brake pedal to bleed off any residual power
4. Re-connect battery
5. Immediately try to reflash car with a known good rom, stock rom is best. Flash rom at first turn on of ignition.

hopefully your back in bussiness
This may not work with Ecutek as it needs to read licience info from ecu, but ecutek may have other methods.

Red indicates electrical issue such as harness not plugged in all the way or bad grounds possible flex fuel issue shorting system. Try unplugging flex fuel. I'm not sure who's flexfuel you have.
Blue indicates possible ecm map corrupted. Reflash new map or try original map without flexfuel to see if it will idle and rev DO NOT drive on base map!!! I have seen a bad ground on the black box bracket passenger side of engine do some of what you are saying.

A bad battery will also do some of these issues. Remember You can still have 12 volts and still have a bad battery. I doubt it has anything to do with the key fob because the car starts and idles or does turn on just mean dash lights and turn off mean no dash lights Im not clear on what you saying.

Check complete turbo install to make sure your not pinching a wiring harness

Maybe I misuderstood OP comments by ON I assumed he ment got some lights or indications on dash ie Ignition ON , but car did not start.

And by OFF I assumed ignition turned off, as he never said car started or ran or idled ect.

If the car actually starts then yes the key authentication is fine.

99% of time if flash is bad car will not start, if flash fails to complete car will not start ROM is incomplete.

If somehow the tune tables are bad then it may not start but should get normal dash indication like fuel rpm ect but the flash would need to complete with the dodgy tables.

I agree Steve99 your info is solid if the car did not start. but I am not sure if it started or not. I read it one way and thought it started then read it again and wasn't sure. Fresh please give us some more info so we can help.
