Well that's an easy way out of things.

Your thought process: "Hmm well, I can drill holes in my bumper which will look ugly if I ever move to another state....or I can put my license plate all the way off to the side". Yah... ok.

If it is state mandatory then unless you sell your car out of state, surely the person you sell too will be happy you have created a suitable mount point for your plate.

The UK plate holder could work, see mine below

Well now, isn't the OP just a ray of sunshine.
And pretty sure he has been with us before.

I think a front plate looks ugly on these cars no matter where you put it. On my previous car, it was centered, and it looked like a buck tooth. It looked so bad I eventually removed it entirely even though my state required a front plate.

Youve already voiced your opinion. Several times. You've made your point. Now either move on, or you're going to get yourself banned for being an annoying troll.

Sure, banned for voicing an opinion that's negative. Pretty typical of standard forums.

Nope never been on these forums before a couple weeks ago. Although that forum mentality is hilarious: "hey he's saying negative stuff just like that other guy did. NO ONE else could possibly be like that so he must be the same person"

This looks nice. I think the important point here is that it doesn't call attention to itself. It's invisible. Something asymmetrical on a car just looks wrong. That's why I never could buy an Eclipse.

There are holes all over the car. A couple in a black zone of the car won't look bad and can be patched IF you're one of the rare few that move states.

In the UK it is also legal to remove the front plate and plate holder and replace it with a sticker, looks smoother if done right

Just run without a license plate regardless of state law. Its like a 50 dollar ticket.

For real though.... I would much rather have the towhook mount than have holes drilled and a bracket on my bumper. The tow hook mount isn't bad.

Why do you care so much about what other people are doing to their car? Some people put body kits on. I think they're ugly but I don't troll the forums for people who do. Some people hate wings. Some people hate big wheels. Some people hate the stock wheels. It's almost as though looks are subjective. Grow up and let people do what they want.

You have any idea how many trolls we see come and go here? So far your post structure, content and attitude match at least 3 of them to a high level of probability. If indeed you are new we can now add a new profile to the list. We are not fools no matter how superior you feel.

Your opinion is not negative nor positive and depends on which side of the fence people sit. I personally don't like the looks of the off set plate either but don't feel some deep psychological need to impose that opinion across a couple of threads and then get aggressive when people present a perfectly valid counter point of view.
You don't like it.
We get it.
So what.
We don't care and you seem to think your opinion carries far more weight and influence than it does.
Stop crying.

Come on man. Nobody cares what you have to say at this point. We all know you get your jollies from trying to get a rise out of people.

Have you ever heard the saying "to each his own"? If you haven't, theres a little snippet of wisdom for you and now you can go on with your silly life and focus on yourself and not the placement of someones license plate on their automobile.

I have the tow hook mount. I bought it because I thought it would buy me time to come up with a better central mount since I needed the front plate mounted to pass state inspection. Eventually I'll get around to making a decent center mount that connects under the bumper instead of through it.
