So that would mean they only warrant their kits on new cars? Mine has about 22k... That means only 14k warranty left

I believe so yes. They are warrantying products they didn't even design or manufacture so I can't blame them for limiting their liability.

Gotcha. That makes sense. I was just asking because I know quite a few people on this thread were under the impression that it was a full 36k warranty at time of install.

Taken from the release:
"COVERAGE DETAILS • Terms are 3 years (36 months) or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first – Time is measured from the vehicles original in-service date and the mileage is measured from zero (0) on the odometer" "Original in-service date" seems to be generally defined in the automotive world as "when the original car warranty started on the vehicle when it was first purchased as a new vehicle." |

This is from Edelbrock just to clear things up as I was also a little confused:
Once you hit 36k, the limited powertrain warranty will be up, however the supercharger itself has a 3 year warranty which covers any part within the system itself. |

Good. This is the PD supercharger this car deserves when we were all let down by the Innovate offering.

Thought I could shine some light on some interesting info one of the members pointed out. Edelbrock is making the supercharger for Lotus and other OEM manufacturers if you look closely. There's not that many companies that utilize EATON TVS rotors.
http://fblod.com/showroom/current-ra...tus/evora-400/ "Lotus Evora 400 – The new flagship supercar from Lotus" "The Lotus Evora 400 harnesses an all new Edelbrock supercharged, water cooled, mid-mounted, 3.5-litre, V6 engine to achieve an outstanding 400 HP and 302 lbs/ft of torque. The engine provides hair-raising acceleration..." |

This kit has me seriously considering selling my Vortech kit. I've wanted a TVS blower for a while now, and the whine and midrange is addicting.
