Oft noob
New to tuners in general bought it to pair with full uel to catback swap and just trying to get a feel for it but have a couple questions, how do I know if it's "up to date"? I downloaded the files for the laptop and plugged it up and it went through a bunch of steps and at one point it said there was updated available then went through more steps, did it download updated tunes or what? And if I already flashed the tune on my car after I did my exhaust will I now need to reflash the tune or what? Guess what I really need is a oft for dummies course. I've never re tuned a car before,i just ordered it from ft86 speed factory and watched a video from shiv on YouTube on how to install and I did that,so wasnt sure info needed to do more now that I've did the laptop thing

Steve99,
OFT Noob here as well. Bought the OFT a month ago. Read your OFT Tips and flashed my AT FRS (Stage 1) without any problems. I recently plugged my OFT and it downloaded updates. Do I need to re-flash Stage 1 or just keep on enjoying myself and not worry about the updates? Thanks! |

You have to manually upload updated tunes so unless you get an updated tune from oft site manually or you change tune yourself with romraider , no no need to do any reflashing |
