Anyone looking to sell their kit? I've been looking at this kit for a while and figured I'd try here for a used kit first. Please PM me if so.
Thanks In advance!

I'm happy with the kit itself as I haven't had a single real issue with the kit itself. All the problems I've had were user/installer induced. Power delivery is strong & smooth and is exactly what this platform needs (~250+whp). Ask me in 6-8 weeks after we get an update on CARB status and hopefully by then I can give it 100% endorsement.

just thought i would chime in...

i would 100% buy this kit again. my kit came complete with no missing parts. Zero install/fitment issues. car pulls hard. 5k since install with original belt. it seems like ppl that are snapping belts are having issues due to incorrect installation. CJ @KraftWerks is an amazing guy to deal with and helped me out big time when I had to replace my rotrex unit when my original blower was stuck in customs. i am extremely satisfied with the customer service and CJ was always there to help me out. There seems to be a few trolls in here(haters mostly or ppl running the other kit) bringing up the same shit. If the cogged pulleys where an issue rotrex wouldnt be doing business with kraftwerks nor would they be warrantying defective units. the reason i chose the KW over the JR was the cogged pulley design as i liked this design better then the JR vbelt style and feel it is a cleaner design with a more OEM look to it. I have also had skunk2 parts from my honda days and there quality in parts has always been top notch with zero issues.

For those who may have to send their SC unit back for a warranty claim take the banjo bolts and oil line fittings off. My new supercharger didn't have those already on, and I didn't take them off the old one. So that's set me back about a week.

I called an talked to the customer service guy and he said they would ship out today. A+ in customer service even if it was my own fault

@KraftWerks

I thought it would be appropriate to post in this thread as opposed to starting a new thread, since the Skunk2 Oil Cooler is/should be a mandatory add-on for any of us with the KW supercharger system.

Anyways, one of the oil lines was frayed and started spraying out oil a couple of days ago. The lines don't come with any additional clamping and are crimped along the connection points so I don't believe this is a matter of improper install. As per picture below, the rubber became frayed/ripped where it meets the metal part going into the cooler.

I just wanted bring awareness that this could happen and that perhaps better lines and clamping should be looked at by Kraftwerks if this isn't uncommon. Yes, the car is fine as I barely made it back to my work parking lot and got it flat bedded to my shop. I probably started leaking oil for about 200 meters and lost the majority of it as the dipstick is showing nothing.

My shop says that he is hearing some abnormal belt squeel which might be from the oil that was splashed all over the engine bay. He's done some cleaning/degreasing so far, so maybe not all of it got removed. We may consider doing custom lines and/or clamping. Or if Kraftwerks has other advice, then we're more than willing to work with it. Will update on this later.

I'll forward these images to R&D to see what may or may not have happened. Send me an email with your complete address and number to cjweidl@group-a-eng.com and I will have the hoses with fittings replaced immediately.

Thanks. I sent you an email with the info you requested. My shop is hoping you could send stronger or reinforced lines as opposed to a direct replacement as they are not completely confident that this won't be a repeat case based on the current design. Thanks.

As noted in the email and just so everyone is on the same page. The lines being sent are the exactly the same as what we've always had. We have since added the clamps to ours to appease those on the boards who wanted that little extra piece of mind although they are not necessary in a socketless / push-lock setup.
