So the turbo has been up and running since Friday afternoon when @nelsmar tuned it. We did three maps. On E85 (actually e70ish I think) we have the maps set for:
320whp
340whp
360whp/275tq @ ~10psi

(I'll post a pic of the dyno sheets later)

That's on stock injectors and on the "heartbreak" MAHA Dyno. At some point I'll probably see what a Dynojet says. Could be fun I suppose.

I also have the FIC 850cc injectors that came with the PTuning Fueling Kit. We decided to go with the stock injectors for now but we'll see.

Interestingly, it was making 380 @ ~10.5psi but that was starting to tax the stock fuel system and was making us (me) a little nervous about reliability so we decided to turn it down a bit lol. Actually, nelsmar said he could leave it there but I had to sign a waiver. Not sure if he was joking...I suspect not. He thought it could possibly hit 400 in a couple more pulls, but neither of is was comfortable with that.

As far as install, I had the kit installed by the professionals at Goodspeed Performance in Scottsdale. They did an amazing job. Matt showed me a few of the very minor tweaks he made--things like routing a couple hoses more efficiently. I'm very glad I had them do it as I wouldn't have considered some of those things.

There were two issues during the install. The oil return plate was machined incorrectly so PTUNING sent another one. It took longer than expected to arrive so that cost me almost a week. The next issue was the oil scavenging pump acted up initially. I'm not really sure what happened there but they got it solved. Those issues turned out to be pretty minor but they're things that I'd have struggled with. Two thumbs up for Goodspeed.

So. Bottom line...

Good Lord this is awesome! The kit is outstanding. It just seems to want to make gobs of power. It feels amazing and has looks and sounds to match. With the JDL UEL header, the car sounds absolutely beastly. The car is completely transformed. It's one glaring weakness was a lack of power/torque and those are now vastly improved.

I can see why this kit costs a little more than some others--because it's effing awesome.

They're okay for a DD where you don't plan on getting too wild. I got them because they are a good mix of performance, price, and warranty. I don't have the driving skills to push them to their limits though so I'm not really sure. My next tires, after I get new wheels, will probably be the Michelin Pilot Super Sports as I think I have a solid hook up for those.

Haha. It's not that bad actually. I'm 6'1" and have sat in there without much complaint. I wouldn't want to do a really long trip like that but I could. Still, I will be moving the sub to the rear at some point, and swapping out the 10" for a 12."
any chance you could get a could pics of the 12'' setup?
thats what i curently have but was going to swap it for smaller if i couldnt get it to fit.
but i really really like this setup you have going, and i mean
im never in the pass seat so im not overly concerned about the leg room

Oh yeah. Almost forgot...

I picked the car up from Goodspeed on Friday afternoon. Saturday morning I dropped it off with Desert Dips. I'd been a little tired of the black on black and wanted something a little different. So...

I wasn't expecting to get coilovers for a while but found some used KW V3s locally and picked them up. I'll need to order the tool kit for them, and maybe look into some adjustable top hats (not sure if needed).

My most recent Dyno. The FIC 850cc injectors are going in in a week and we'll retune then. Hoping to hit 400+ on the corn juice.
