Expensive lesson learned. Towing fees aren't cheap! Cost $600 to get my car out for a week in the lot...plus $300ish for the ticket. It gave ICBC that one infraction to take away my license for 3 months. I paid another $100ish to attempt to write an official letter to plead my case for them to not take away my license....they said no and took away my license (nice cash grab attempt). I then paid another $100ish to get my license reinstated. Now they reviewed my annual insurance and tacked on another $300ish for a 'driver risk premium'. So all in all...one stupid excessive speeding mistake pretty much cost me over $1300 in fees and fines.

Picked her up today! After various back and forth with numbers, we finally got the paperwork done. It hasn't hit me yet but I'm sure it will soon enough.

Drove around Alki beach here in Seattle, not used to a lot of people staring my way. Felt bad for an older gentleman because he almost lost his balance while riding his bike, and nearly hit a light pole. -_-"

Believe me the looks don't stop but you get used to it. I have seen people staring so hard they have walked into garbage cans, sign posts and one poor dude that actually tripped over a picnic table. Contrary to popular belief that these cars only attract dudes you will also notice that many chicks will also stare and comment on it. Most of those comments will be "I loooove the colour" but at least they comment.

Haha, thanks guys! I'll get used to it. It's definitely an ego boost when people of all ages/genders take a glance (or 10 second stare down) of the car. Even a bigger boost when all owners of motorcycles, BMW's, Audi's, Honda's, etc. nod or smile my way.

Only thing is, looks like I'll be shelling out a pretty penny for security around the house and alarm system to deter the potential baddies. As they say, you got to pay to play.

Watch for the 'Stang drivers that stare but pretend they are not and look away fast if you make eye contact. I guarantee that you will laugh to yourself.

I had a guy in a Prius C red light race me an hour into ownership. I said fuck it and let him have a bit of fun. No way in hell am I getting a ticket in order to beat a Pruis. He must not have seen the speed trap signs...

I thought the trunk light was too dim so I added a 2nd bulb socket and changed the bulbs to LEDs. Noticeable improvement, probably +10hp :p

I never really liked having them emblems there, it just seemed out of place. After my fender was damaged and seeing @pleong fenders I just went for it
