Oil Change

At how many miles was your first oil change on your FR-S that is only ever been owned by you. And what was the experience like?

I'm at 7.2k going to go in at 7.5k

First at 5K, second at 10K, third will be at 15K. Mobile 1 full synthetic. Easiest car in the world to change oil on.

I'm at 37500 now and have never had the oil changed. With the new synthetics, it's no longer necessary to change the oil as long as you hose out the filter every now and then.

I heard that the 364.5whp 2019 BRZ STI that is most definitely coming out will only require oil changes every 36,544 miles. Something about .... when the oil flows through the turbo it gets heated to such a high temp that it regenerates its structural integrity and comes out almost like new.
