Go to a few local autocrosses. Great place to learn what you and your car can do at limit in a safe environment.

Do as Racecomp says.

In case it happens on the way to autox, don't panic and look at where you want go.

100% this! I spent my first year autocrossing a stock BRZ and learned a ton about how to handle this car at the limits. There were a lot of spinouts that first year but you're in a safe environment and every one is a good learning experience.

The only way to truly deal with it is to constantly put yourself in a (safe) situation where it happens, and learn to correct it.

As @racecompengineering said, an AutoX or a Skidpad day is the perfect way to learn. Watered skidpads are even better!

I now have 38 front 34 rear. Previously I had little feel for what the front or back was doing. Now it is easy to tell. Call me insensitive if you like.

Surprisingly the front does not feel harsher but certainly (even) more accurate.

The car is less twitchy feeling and more chuckable into corners..
