I don't think you'll do any good using the stock sensor in any setup. But all you need is a 3 bar and still have a lot of room. But if you mean stock coming from KraftWerks you should be fine.

What do you guys think of my idea to use jiffy tite couplers on the hoses for the supercharger cooling system?

Where I live, tuning cars legally is difficult.
So the kit has to come off to pass EU vehicle inspection every second year.
I just found out the insane price on the rotrex oil.
Quick couplers would avoid loss of oil if I remove the kit.
The car will probably be modded more as well. (disassemble kit because of other mods.)
It would also possibly not let air in to the system, then I wont have to bleed out air from the system every time.
According to the info I can find on jiffy tite couplers, they should not affect oil flow much.

Any toughts? Bad idea? Good idea?

There's actually somewhere that is more restrictive on mods than commufornia???

Sounds like it's an internal part failure in the C30, but obviously wont know until they get it evaluated by rotrex. I got the car back from the shop last night after they went through it. There were no holes in the system to cause a boost leak. The supercharger is really screaming now, so I'm leaning towards an internal failure of the C30.

Mine to became to loud and annoying, when my 2nd belt broke noise is gone. Going to try to replace my idler pulleys first before I can tell if it is the blower thats causing noise. BTW: on one occasion during my log pulls for Moto-East at 4th at around 92 mph it stayed there for a 2 seconds or so on wot then i just let it go.

Anyone had to deal with their Rotrex replacement ?

I got offered a 50% discount on a new blower, "While they confirm it's really defective which can take 2-3 months..."

I don't think it's right tbh.

That's similar what I was told. I'm pulling mine this weekend and sending it back. It's not my DD so it's not that much of an inconvenience. It's just a pain in the ass doing it in a single car garage.

I was told to send it to kraftwerks who will send it to rotrex in Denmark for warranty eval. Or I could buy a new one at the core charge price, and if my warranty claim is approved then I get reimbursed for it.

I'll probably end up buying a new one versus waiting for rotrex to approve the warranty claim. It's cruising weather and I got used to a boosted FRS... Going back to NA would be too depressing.

(Orange Exhaust tip covers are so the CARB techs can connect to the sampling system as well as extract the fumes, gases out of the building. Also have the hooks installed to keep the vehicle firmly planted on the dyno during the testing.)

The discount is actually 56% as that is what Rotrex offers should a unit be denied warranty. This discount is offered as a CORE ahead of time to keep the vehicle going and has the potential to be reimbursed should Rotrex deem the case approved.

In most cases, this process can take 3-5 weeks. We also have to factor in shipping time for the unit to arrive here, then to ship out from our facility up to Denmark. We often over-estimate the time to give a buffer but the typical return times are as noted.

Really looking forward to this - can't wait to shut up all of the naysayers about KW not being CARB - not to mention not being able to drive in certain areas of SD for fear of an emissions ticket!
