Winding two lane road in pitch darkness.

This Audi A5 driver comes right up behind me with his actual headlights off (only DRLs on).

I guess I was going too slow for him, so he crosses the double yellow right as we're coming up on a blind hill. Next thing you know there's oncoming traffic in "his" lane, I have to slow down so his idiot self can get back over.

Ridiculous.

This happened to me last weekend too! Except it was someone in a Nissan Quest!

I was on the backroads with my gf when we run into some traffic. A Nissan Pathfinder was holding up traffic and not turning off to let any one by. It was Pathfinder, Quest, and me in the back.

All of a sudden, the Quest crosses the double yellows and floors it going up hill. My GF and I were both like "WHOA WTF" and that's when on coming traffic emerged, forcing the Pathfinder to brake so the Quest had enough time to move back over.

That's up there for one of the dumbest driver's I've ever seen.

Eventually the Pathfinder gets the picture and lets me by. I catch up to the Quest, and he doesn't let me by, instead increasing his speed through the turns. GUY WAS CANYON CARVING IN A MINIVAN.

At this point, I'm not even mad and I'm enjoying watching the steel whale of a car tilt in the corners. I eventually take another road and went on my way.

I was speechless.

About a week ago I was in my car with my mom going to get some dinner and these two cars pull up on me full of teenagaers as I'm driving about 40 and fly by then slow down. They were driving a mid-'00s Civic and a early-'90s Integra. Pulled up to a light and I'm just talking with my mom and I can see them mugging me and the Civic takes off, I don't, then they slow down to try and get me to race them again but I don't take the bait. Pull up to another light and the same thing happens until they realize I'm not going to race. Speed limit is 40 mph and they were doing somewhere around 80 probably.

If I was by myself, I'd have taken the bait since I hadn't been able to test out my new UEL header, header back exhaust, and tune yet against someone.

Another Porsche story. Heading west on 2222 in Austin, right where it begins to wind a lot and drops off sharply as it heads towards the river. In the left lane is a guy driving a Porsche Carrera GT (newish). He sees me out of the corner of his eye (just a little behind him in the right lane) and guns it down the hill.

Now, this road is not that winding and it was downhill so I did the same. Stuck with him for about 1/2 a mile taking every curve just as fast as he did. Just as he was starting to get really pissed off at me for keeping up, I turned off onto a side road and went on my merry way.

I don't know why, but I really, really love pissing off Porsche drivers!

I gotta ask!
How do you know he was pissed off at you?
Maybe he was all like "Wow this dude is great"!

Today I was cruising down a small street and out of nowhere a Camero pulls up beside me loud as ever (I have an Invidia N1 that's pretty loud too). He stopped beside me at the stop sign and matched my pace and kept revving. Obviously not taking his bait, I roll down my window, and he does the same....

I start waving frantically and yell "hey!", a girl in his passenger waved back and said "hey!" back. At this point, he's not going to floor it or else he would look like a big douche, so he just cruised with me until I reached my destination.

uhhhhh, the last year they made a carrera GT was 2007, are you talking about the right car? If it was a carrera GT i doubt he even knew you were there. He was probably just cruising while getting a blowjob from his trophy model concubine as he was driving his FREAKING HALF A MILLION DOLLAR CAR. I highly doubt he "gunned it" in his 600hp 3000lb car.

My very favorite line is someplace way back on this thread. Dude says "he was pulling on me and then thought he heard turbo whine from my car and backed off" How the hell could anybody ever even say something like that?
