for all countries:
AVOID ALL PLACES AND RESTAURANT WHERE YOU FIND THE WORD "TOURIST".
Mainly in "Fast Food Town"......An italian (real) NEVER will eat/drink beside/near Colosseo...or Mastio Angioino or Ponte Vecchio.......might be to make a comparison with real American Steak of Texas (or Yorker Steak too) and eats it in a fast food point equal to those you will find in Russia or Pakistan.
I remember to tasted the worst pasta and wine of my life....in Rome (as often I travel for business). You need to find "real" Italy, a good bottle of wine cannot be under 20/25 (medium high quality) Euros (otherwise is low HORECA class) and a good full menu cannot be under 40 Euros...with wine.
If you think that real Parmiggiano Reggiano "Red" has a cost of 32.00 Euros/kg....you may realize that a (1) Spaghetti with 3 spoons of Parmiggiano can't be proposed for 6/7 Euros. Real Olive Oil of Garda...costs 25 Eur/liter....

And frickin Pain trees. What kind of place has trees that can hurt you so bad that you want to die? Put that in your tourist brochures too. Come to Australia where even the trees can kill you.

Link for those who find this as hard to believe as I do. It's real alright.

Hmm.

Has fruit, probably good in a smoothie or a juicer, but am I willing to die for it?

Only an Ozzy would say "hey that fruit looks tasty, here hold my beer I'm going in."

Yes we dont mention drop bears scares to many people off comming here.

Savage and cunning creatures, live in outback, packs of them hide in trees and drop onto unsuspectind tourists from above.

Some say they are related to prehistoric koalas, all we know is they are responsible for the disapearance of many tourists.

They usually drag their prey off to an isolated spot before devouring the unlucky victims, so the remains are seldom found.

Lucky they are almost extinct and true aussies are blessed with a sixth sence so know when they are arround and avoid them.

I always get a kick out of Aussies and their drop bears.

You guys are so desensitized to the fact that your local animals and weather should kill you six times by lunchtime that you need to talk about drop bears to scare tourists.

I'm from northern Canada. We have grizzlies. Wolverines are a real animal that make Tasmanian devils look like playful kittens. Moose are like fighting bulls jacked up on steroids with bigger horns. Drop bears would maybe rank about the same as a cougar in terms of danger. No big deal.

And yet, there is no fucking way you will ever catch me 10 minutes out of a major Australian urban center with out a local guide that I'm 100% certain has my safety as their number one priority. Even then I would be pissing my pants in terror at the sight of any spider and the thought of how common deadly brown snakes are. Fuck Australian wildlife.

Fuck, even God periodically tries to kill Australia with fire. And fails.

Nice beach though...

Heh...

Poor Italians have been pushed aside by the Aussies and Canucks on their own thread!

Nah it not bad rearly.

I would be scared of grislys and brown bears, mooses blizzards avalanches ect as i dont normally see them or understand them .Only difference with our stuff is its either stealthy and or generally small or you dont see or hear it comming.

But in all honesty i dont know anyone personally who has been eaten bitten or attacked by anything nasty or died from anything in the wild, only a kid at school who was stung by a bee and died cause he was alergic to bees.

All the serious injuries and deaths have been due to car or motorcycle accidents unfortunatly.

If I had to fight a nasty creature like that I would use a hand grenade... especially one designed to take out fruit bats and orangutans...
