.... I honestly can't even..
Look, you can buy whatever you want. This is for the cars themselves - not accessories that go in the cars. Radar detectors are universal, not specific to this car. The vehicle itself will not impact how the radar detector performs. Just look up general reviews. From anywhere. Hell do as google search and find radar detector forums. Jesus Christ. We aren't a catch-all. |

Your time would be much better spent doing your own research rather than waiting for people to respond to your thread. You'll probably find answers much faster. With that being said: true, some reviews aren't accurate, but that comes with the territory. but if a radar detector is in your price range and is getting overall pretty solid reviews, it's probably not a fluke. every product (even the best), is going to have bad reviews somewhere on the internet. either it didn't live up to someone's high expectations, some idiot used it in a manner other than intended, etc. but if you see 85-90% are giving it an overall approval, you can bet it's a pretty solid choice. |

I have the radar detector linked below. Whistler CR85. Works great. Have had it for over a year and a half, never failed me. Probably has saved me hundreds of dollars in speeding tickets. Very few false alarms, picks up radar like 1/2 to 3/4 mile away. Sometimes 1 mile or more if on flat highway.
Good thing about this radar detector is its talking, so it will tell u the type of radar the cop is using or if you have been zapped with a laser detector.Highly recommended. Having a radar detector is like having a 6th sense. Now, if I drive without a radar detector (which is very rarely), I feel naked. I have a Valentine V1, and I've been using it since 2004, and usually 5 days a week. Still works great. Range is awesome, arrows are a big help (regardless of what detractors may say).

Illegal here. In fact I think they are into the 5th or 6th generations of radar detector detectors!

^True^
now just decide if you want a windshield mounted one, or an integrated one. Depending on budget, legal issues, etc. I went for the integrated one, and decided to hide it to be safe legal-wise: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81704 |
