I'll take my chances with the majority of the other people with bolt on FI kits that haven't blown on stock block yet.

Well I wish you luck. It's never fun seeing people go through engines. Mine should of been good with 9 psi on e85.

How did yours blew? And what was the setup before the motor popped?

Custom JDL Borg Warner EFR 7064 turbo kit. 700 cc injectors, 65dw fuel pump, mocal oil cooler, Koyorad radiator and the delicious tuning flex fuel kit on 9 psi just to name a few. I barley blipped the gas pedal to downshift when I heard the motor blow.

Lol, yeah.

Hi Zach, I just want to know if you guys received my emails to you both last November, another one last December, and finally a PM last week. I only want a confirmation if you've reviewed my concern in both my NA Stage2 tune and my Flash&Go Turbo tune format updates. Please let me know how to get you guys' attention. Thank you!

Throwing rods and poking holes through blocks is never fun (neither is frying rings, cracking pistons, dropping valves, etc I bet ..but I haven't done all of the latter; I've only poked holes)

But I think that was much more common 10+ years ago, before better/nicer/safer custom tunes (ecutek) were the norm.

Could you offer some context to your post?

Sorry about that, lost in the sea of mail. Responded!

Sincerely,

We're working on finalizing a new version of both the Flash & Go tunes and the NA tunes we have. All a part of the continuous improvement our tunes go through. While they aren't ready for release quite yet, they should be soon.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

I was speaking of my old S13 with SR. Back then, the only options were super expensive motec (unattainable by majority of hobbyists for its' high price), or little simple and cheap piggyback fuel tuning boxes. Everything else was mostly analog. I think more detonation/timing problems occurred during those old analog/piggyback-ecu days. Today, we have much much better options (with much more parameters able to be tuned), that are affordable at the same time (ecutek).
