Yeah pretty much the only thing I've been spending my strange coins on lately is exotic shards. On the flip side, I see they are adding matchmaking to the Weekly strike now so it will be easy for me to knock that out with both my characters if I so desire to build up a huge surplus of strange coins.

If they offered a new line up of exoitc weapons and armor (a real line up, not this nickle and dime stuff), then strange coins would be valued more.

The 3 exotic weapons they added, and 3 armor pieces (I only know of 3) is why people don't need strange coins. They don't want to make exotic weapons obsolete in future updates/expansions which is great, but the entire creative team at Bungie needs to be fired.

Their contribution to Destiny is very very very lack luster. Reskinned weapons labled as "new". Boss fights that are just BIGGER versions of MOBs found in every mission.
Armor.. Everyone looks the SAME.

Desitny has great gameplay though.

So keep those guys, fire the creative team and hire guys that would work for a fraction of what the current team gets paid and do a better job.

Just a shot in the dark: The Warframe creative team would do a much better job.

Warframe has an armory that makes Destiny look like a carnival shooting gallary. Its an Indie game and definitely does not have the budget of Activision.

There were actually quite a few exotic armors released in TDB.

Hunters alone got that arachnid helmet, the Don't Touch Me gauntlets and The Radiant Dance Machines.

Problem is most people only care about the weapons, which were complete balls this go around.

Which brings me to ANOTHER gripe. None of their sh*t works!

No one cares about Armor, because Bungie in their infinite wisdom in First Person shooters and Ignorance in MMOs felt it would be a good idea to Scale down your Armor and Fire power. So if it takes you 3 headshots to kill a lvl 30 mob, it will still take you 3 head shots to kill a lvl 2 mob and vice versa.

Also, not too happy with their RNG perks. (like Ruin wings). When I saw ruin wings I was like "SWEET, any titan who does not get these is a moron." They "Supposedly" increase the frequency of Heavy ammo drops and the amount of heavy ammo.

I still rarely see heavy ammo drops in a raid setting. Out in open world when I'm killing HUNDREDs of mobs I'll see a couple more. BUT I will still pick up a heavy ammo pack that has 1 rocket.

So i'm guessing "more frequent" and "more ammo" means that instead of 1.xx frequency and 1.xx amount its 1.05-1.1x frequency and 1.05-1.3x amount.

Not to mention they STILL have not addressed the known bug that currently exists for armor that increases maximum heavy ammo that one can carry. I'm tired of losing all my heavy ammo when I die.

They are supposedly fixing that in the next patch. According to the weekly update.

I hit rank 5, bought everything and Now I have no glimmer and no motes

Got crappy rolls on my Timur's, and a decent roll on my Demise (zen, single point, and 3rd eye).
Demise will probably just be a pvp weapon, fang is a much better pve weapon.
