It blows. I have #1 at my dealership (ordered 1st wk of March) and my hope of getting this car end of May/1st week of June is pretty much dead. The regional SOA rep is going to be at my dealership on Thursday, so I plan on respectfully ranting about the whole situation. I know he/she can't do anything, but SOA has to at least hear about how badly they're frustrating the enthusiast community. They had an opportunity to really deliver on this launch and have failed.

A little more transparency on the part of SOA, with regards to the delivery process and shipments, would go a long way to alleviating some of our frustrations. Especially when we all have $500-$1000 deposits on something with little or no information in return. Without the information provided by this forum, I would've already gone insane.

Could not agree more. I'm surprised at the good amounts of fun and information I've had here. A surprising amount of time spent here, too.

Also the lack of flaming/trolling has been impressive.

Just called SOA to get my VIN today. I was #1 in line at prestige subaru in Turnersville, NJ. Ordered a DGM Limited 6MT with no options. Estimated Delivery date is 5/31

Did you have a VON number or did you just call them and ask? I'm in NY so I'm curious since we both fall under SDC and when I called SOA about a week ago they had to contact my dealer to get any information for me.

Heads up. Mine just got here - Annapolis Subaru. It was supposed to arrive on May 31. Picking it up on Monday.
