a. that the arm was strong in static tests (yes, not the right tests for the arm on the actual vehicle) b. to show that we do utilize the proper programs for testing This control arm itself is still in it's very alpha stages, that's why this was a "gauging interest" thread. If we we're taking pre-orders that would be a different thing, we would be at a different stage of the game. |

Lol, guys take it easy. Let's see what final product they release first. You have to admit that their quality and craftsmanship is 10x's better than 95% of the stuff out there already. That's a good sign.

Still finalizing this product, but we're in the final stages of development. We should have some "solid" test data for everyone soon. I know that there has been mixed feelings regarding this, but I think once the final product is out there many of you will be pleased!

Just got word that the arm is going to be cut soon. I hope to have some nice photos for you all the end of this week, or more likely... early next week.

Very cool. Will camber adjustment affect other areas that will need to be adjusted to compensate during alignment?

Yes, if you lengthen one 'arm' of that assembly the whole thing will move. If you increase camber (more negative) the toe will go out and the caster will increase as well. Camber will be affected more than the others, from what I can see, but others will be affected. Toe is easy enough to adjust back in, but there's no provision here to adjust caster.

Second, the retail price will not be the same as the MAP pricing, so they will still be competitive. More details are coming, but our focus is to make sure that our control arms are one of the strongest pieces that we have made. The stock arm is not strong, and we want to correct that with our aftermarket piece. |
