Haha right!

@KraftWerks perhaps you can make a revision on the product page to clearly label which kit is C30 and which is C38? Not to be a jimmy rustler

Noted!

We'll get this simplified or at least cleared up here shortly to make it easier for everyone!

Waiting for my C38 kit.
The BRZ is winter parked, so I have plenty of time installing it.

Indeed!! The C38 makes massive power but don't get it wrong the C30 kit is still a ton of fun to drive and makes a substantial amount of power.

All of the Partial Sponsorship kits are sold however we do have more kits available at a very good deal. You need this kit!

Thanks
Rick

My wife is almost to the point of telling me to quit playing with the supercharger and go surf porn or something

I read somewhere that there's no point in getting the C38 because it's more parasitic to the engine, I read it somewhere here, I just dont wanna go through all 500 pages on this thread. I'm also asking that if you're running a bigger blower wouldnt you need to redo your engine internals because you'll be running a lot more boost?

But What's really making me wanna go with Kraftwerks over Jackson is that nice C38 lol but is there anyone here running the C38 blower? How does it affect your powerband? Compared to the C30.

My goal is just 300whp but hey if I can get more HP for a couple hundred dollars if I just buy the kit with the C38 I'm fine with that too lol!

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, but have decided to go with the C38. If you have access to E85 you can hit 300 whp on the C30, but if not you will need the C38 for sure. Where I live there is no E85 and I figure better to start with the larger blower, as the upgrade down the line costs more than the initial $200 extra.

@Chad86 pretty much gave the short-end of it.

While the C38 does take 'more' hp to spin it being a larger piece, it is able to move more air at given points thus keeping the power band similar to the C30 down below but able to produce far more at the higher RPMs. This is also taking into account having not changed the pulleys in either configuration. If the C38 is spec'd to the actual engine redline vs. well above for safety, then the powerband would be significantly increased in the lower rpms and even more so at the peak.

LOL! Mine gets annoyed because my daily 4Runner apparently is boosted via my mouth, I thought my s/c whine and woosh sounds are pretty good, she disagrees.
