The cold side charge pipe that comes through the passenger side frame rail into the engine bay is hitting the headlight and metal of the frame. Anyone else deal with this? Also seems like my bumper is hitting something. Won't clip all the way under the headlight

The spot under the headlight with the bumper is most likely the black clip that secures the bumper to the car. Shine a flashlight in there and check it out. I had the same thing happen to me on one of the many times I've taken my bumper off. It's got like a groove in it that is easy to push the tabs on the bumper over the groove causing the bumper to not sit right.

I can attest that the Skunk2 will bolt up to the Tomei OP. Hope to have the car done in the next 3 weeks, but my job is getting in the way.
@KraftWerks are you seeing that 12-15hp on NA or boosted or both?

going to agree

I'm at whatever the c30 is on stock pulley, and it's pretty much just right for actually driving the car in ways that don't involve a straight line, honking off and or light trees.

I move to a new house in March, then have 2 weeks off at the end of the month and first week of April. I'll have a double car at this house so plan is to tackle it then.

Too late. Plus in houston it gets so hot idling in traffic. I just wanted some piece of mind.

You guys need to add a wastegate to one of your charge pipes so you can bleed boost in low gears... that's how you get traction back on these kits. I did it on my Si when I had a KW kit.

I started looking at the Innovate kit that everyone seems to rave about. What are the advantages of Kraftwerks over Innovate? Ease of install, etc.?

The torque curve is nuts. But, I think it doesn't put out as much power and heat soak may be an issue. Plus I think it's very expensive for the intercooled version.

My understanding was down low it runs even with most superchargers, however loses in the top end. Not entirely sure on the physics as to why. Not too mention it costs nearly the same as other kits that produce more hp.

Positive displacement superchargers are "air pumps", whereas centrifugal superchargers are "air compressors".

My reason for buying kraftwerks was... The hp and tq numbers were good, I like the separate drive belt set up. I find the set up under the hood very clean looking.

I can't seem to find it again but what size spring clamps do I need to secure my hoses under the intake manifold?
