Right now the answer is no. Currently the MAF based tune is still a little more refined tune for the Innovate Kit and something we prefer to offer to this market instead of the Flash & Go. I do not believe we will ever drop it as we have spent far too much time on this tune to do so.

@DeliciousTuning I see that you offer maf scaling options for the 3" perrin intake. Curious what gains are had with this intake if any. I just put one on and I'm ready to pull the trigger on a delicious tune because the dyno is getting expensive!

Otherwise when cold my car has a light hesitation but that is,about it. Once warmed up past about 50 Celsius it runs smooth.

Now I do know I coukd play with the cams even more for cold and warm conditions but just have not focused on this tune lately. We have been focused on our Flash & Go map for all forced induction applications. I even have it working on the Innovate kits now too so you can read higher boost but it is a much different tune. Speed Density versus MAF based.

What should the short term fuel trims be showing at idle?

I hate to say it but we have not see any gains with the Perrin 3" intake over say an Airaid. Now over stock there is a benefit but beyond that we have not see any real difference.

Because of that we prefer anything that will keep the air temps cooler, so plastic, heat wrap, air from outside the engine bay etc... Anything to keep it cooler will help.

----

Idle fuel trims we like to see about 0 to +10 usually. If you are getting much above that there may be a small leak.

Sounds good. I'll make sure I double check everything once I redo the pcv and breather lines. Thanks Bill.

Bob, when you replaced the pulley, did you need to replace the belt too? I am getting a squeak and the guys at HG thought it was just the belt making the noise due to the rain/humidity we have now. But perhaps it could be the pulley.

Since they're simple enough to change, I'd do the pulley first and see if the squeak goes away. Then belt later if needed.

Thanks, Bill. At least the Perrin intake makes the blower whine noticably louder at full throttle, and that's good 'nuff for me! Until it is accounted for in a tune, do I have to worry about damaging something running this? It seems to runs smooth on my current e85 tune.

I did not, but I did just recently replace my belt after about 30K as it was making some squeaking noises when shifting. I'm still on the 75mm pulley.

@DeliciousTuning when purchasing your tunes online, there's a drop down list under "Vehicle World Region Identifier".

Which one should I select for Australian market vehicles?

Yea since the innovate tube mounts at the stock location, the coupler is in the right spot for the perrin to bolt right up.
