Torque dip isn't gone, but it's very small.

ok cool, Bob from drift office did the tune and he didnt seem particularly impressed with this headers performance due to the torque dip, he was able to shorten it but not eliminate it.he showed me a tune he did on a uel tomei that made about the same amount of peak power but DID eliminate the torque dip

That's good to know. Another case where EL and UEL results are practically the same at the top end. I may look into the UEL then. Just not a huge fan of the boxer rumble

yeah if i knew this ahead of time i probably would of gone the uel route but oh well, it honestly doesnt bother me too much since its there and gone so fast when im stepping on it. im going to try to get some more pulls done with completely catless since thats what the uel was and see what happens maybe a couple more hp at peak idk i also think i have a small exhaust leak somewhere.if your interested ill let ya know if i do. btw nice profile pic!

Haha no, it's because I asked Bob about the Tomei EL on Facebook. I wanted to buy the EL headers but I might buy the UEL ones because of this.

Oh OK haha I'll be going back in a couple weeks he wants to tinker around with it more, and I'm gunna use my catless frontpipe this time since the uel setup was catless so It should be a better comparison.ill be posting results afterward hopefully I'll see some sort of improvement
