Besides, the Nazi party had been using the swastika as a symbol of the Aryans, a Nordic race of noble people believed to have migrated and ruled territories around the Himalayan region. The Aryans were also the ruling class of the Vedic traditions that believed a dragon was slayed which gave rise to the sacred rivers springing from the Himalayas that gave birth to civilization in the Indus. Aryan is also the base word for Iranian or the original Indo-Europeans.

Anyway, it was just a picture of a clothing store, nothing more.
Nice, just didn't want there to be one statement out there regarding the swastika.

Thanks for the history also very cool to know as my ancestors are Aryan descendant (not Iranian)

This looks just so wrong even knowing it was before the nazi takeover of the symbol.

Looks more like the German "SS" symbol in my opinion.

No the Trueno badge takes that honour.

Mind you Toyota seems to have a designer that comes very close to many symbols

The MR2 badge is eerily familiar as well.

There are several threads on the subject.
The very first words out of my son's mouth when he saw the car were "Why does it have swastikas on it. You should probably change that". Some people just can't see it and others see it right way or can't unsee it once it pops out.

It looks like a swastika in that is a busy logo on a circle. Otherwise... Naw I don't really see it. Honestly I don't much like the 86 logo as I find it to hard to pick out the numbers (not clear enough) but that's just my opinion

Never noticed, but a friend in work asked me yesterday why it said SS on the side of my car.

Without a doubt, this is my last thread to prove a point, although I might not be entirely accurate. Is it just me or does the Ottawa signage suggest something like a 666?
