EDIT: Didn't have the time to write out why (because math class) but all of my friends are xbone. Like...all. I am the only PS4 person in my little group

But also very easy to make a new one.

My original PSN name got locked because Sony double charged me for a purchase, and I disputed it with my CC company. When I called Sony they said I have to send them a money order for $60 to get my account unlocked, so they could resolve the issue. That made no sense to me, so I just made a new PSN account.

This is the exact reason why I went with XB1 over PS4. That and the Xbox controllers have always felt better to me for FPS games which is what I primarily play. With the exception of a couple exclusive titles they are the same damn thing to me. I don't understand the "console war" at all. I'm going to end up with both anyway.

Exactly what I was thinking. But no one that I know plays PS4, so it is just this forum that and randoms that I will really play with

The xbox controllers are ok, but so are the PS4. I don't have a preference really. I am just tired of microsoft bullshit, and want a change. Plus, destiny bundle

My circle of gamers split. Some XBone, some PS4, but I made the decision to pick up the PS exclusive cool stuff I missed out on last gen. Have you used a DualShock 4 controller? I agree that Xbox controllers are great and the DualShock 3 was meh, but the PS4 controller is such an improvement that I don't even miss the 360 controller.. something I didn't expect.

My circle of gamer friends has dissolved, only 2 bought into the next gen, 1 x1, one ps4. We're all getting older and have jobs and families and responsibilities now and that really gets in the way of playing games.

I'll eventually have both systems once PS4 either gets a must have game or Gran Turismo 7 comes out. I've always been xbox so that's where the games I want to play are, Halo, Gears, Forza, etc.

I have and it is a vast improvement over the DualShock 3. However I have, and always will, prefer off center joysticks simply because it just works better. You can thank Dreamcast for that!

Yup, getting old does that.

I remember when I moved to SC and moved in with my girlfriend (whom I later married) I used to play games a lot more. Before kids, basically.. She played the old console stuff when she was young, and she still did a bit of PC gaming here and there. The Sims, mainly. One day as I'm sitting there for hours she rolled her eyes and told me I'd grow out of it eventually. I laughed at her and told her yeah, don't ever expect that to happen.

Fast forward a year or so and I introduce her to MMOs and ARPGs. Now she plays games almost as much as I do. Fast forward to today, and neither of us have as much time (again, children) but we both play games when we've got the free time.

Dreamcast was awesome. I had an uncle that was an on the road truck driver, and he had a Dreamcast in his truck but didn't play it much. One day he handed it to me and said I could borrow it until he got back in our area. So I had it for several months, picked up a few games when they went super on sale.. I missed that thing quite a bit when he took it back.
