*BEWARE* Steer clear of Manzo Engineering Exhaust

Hi everyone,

Figured I'd give everybody a heads-up about a new company to the scene, Manzo Engineering (actually, it's Megan Racing building the parts, but they're starting a new label, apparently).

Manzo is very new to the scene and has surprisingly cheap prices - check out this exhaust. It looks like the Greddy Evo3 and I was hoping to test it just to see what you can get for under $400.

I bought the Manzo Exhaust V2 from the great guys over at @Redline360 (one of our vendors). I got a great price from them and they got it to me in TWO days which was badass.

The problem? Fittment issues all over the place. After installation, the endcaps were so close to the center of the bumper that we were concerned the heat might melt the bumper.

To make matters worse, the pipes actually come into full impact with the underside of the car -absolutely no clearance whatsoever (pics below).

I've contacted @Redline360 and they're going to help me get this resolved, but I am completely disappointed.

I will keep you all posted, but I felt you all might want to know if you happen to be in the market for an inexpensive option - this one isn't it at this point. However, if you want to hear them properly installed, here's two clips that will show you why I was excited about them.

I always thought Manzo/Tsudo/Megan/Top Speed were all the same OEM. Others have run these exhaust, maybe you got a bad one?

I'm hoping I got a bad one and that @Redline360 can facilitate the exchange without too much trouble. It's just a bummer because I was so excited to get it in two days and get it in there.

On the bright side, my Injen SP1230P went in flawlessly and looks & sounds fantastic.

Yeah, that's always a bummer when you order something (anything really) and get excited waiting for it to be delivered only for it to have undesired results.

The benefit you have is that you bought it from a reputable dealer here. I could not imagine the hassle you would have if you got it from ebay.

I know it's supposed to all fit perfectly, but can't you adjust this exhaust to fit?

We tried everything in the book to get these to fit adjusting every mounting point, screw and reinstalling the system at different angles. Using stock hanger rubber, the pipes had absolutely no clearance, touching the car full-on.

Short of bending the pipes and possibly re-welding, this appears to be a bad batch with no fix.

Check around, I think they make different rubber hangers and I believe this problem has surfaced before with an exhaust system on here (somewhere). Not sure if longer hangers might help you or not but it might be an option. The ends being too close together is (if they used a jig) that the jig is not set up properly. They need to double check their measurements and correct the jig.

You know, when you haven't even heard back from the reseller or the supplier, making a thread like this is kind of a **** move. If they'd told you to pound sand that'd be one thing but so far a one off bad part and waiting to hear back isn't reason to pronounce a company is the devil.

So wait, you bought a super cheap exhaust, and it's not great quality?

This is shocking news. Stop the presses.

I was there for the install and there was definitely fitment issues. I know I was just trying to give a heads up to other members.

I have a Manzo V2 as well. There is very little clearance under the car but mine clears everything. There seems to be issues with the tips. The one on the passenger side of the car is too close to center, but the other one is fine, so hoping to fiddle with the hangers to get it even. I love the sound and the price, considering I got mine used for very little Cash. Call Manzo and report the spacing issues.

They are easy to get on the phone. I called about require gaskets and hardware since they were not included in the transaction I made with the original owner. Sorry to hear yours isn't lining up that well.

I would agree if he was bashing the seller, but he is not. He even gave redline kudos.

Even though the product is wonky, the seller looks good: super fast shipping and actively working to remedy the situation.
