I've got Tein Street advance ready to put into mine, have done a couple of track days but in the wet, looking forward to lowering it and being able to dial in the shocks having already fitted SuperPro hollow adjustable sway bars front and rear.

Only driven for a day, didn't go crazy low just dropped 15mm out and set the damper rate at full soft for the road with plenty of scope to firm up at the track. On full soft the car is more stable, it does not feel any less comfortable, than stock. Track day in August at Sandown will let them have a work out.

Nice, I should have mine in by Monday/Tuesday, and I'll be going to track day with them on July 22nd, so I'll be able to test them out then.

So I finally got these and had them installed for a few days. Thought I'd share my experience.

I still need an proper alignment and stickier tires so I can't comment much on the performance gain. The coilovers themselves feel high quality in both material and construction. I haven't noticed any weird noises whatsoever after driving them for a few days.

Currently on 10/10 Tein recommended setting for street and they are very comfortable for something with 8K/9K springs. small bumps and road imperfections are definitely noticeable but doesn't bother me much; on bigger bumps at higher speed it's definitely not as plush as stock but the bounciness is very well controlled (I'm sure there's a more technically correct way to describe this)

I also tried 10/9 setting for a brief drive and the difference in damping force, even just 1 click stiffer, is immediately noticeable and definite, and I have no doubt they'll be able to handle much better tires than the stockers I have right now.

Have you tried going softer than 10/10? How does it feel when you go 16/16?

thanks,
jonathan

Haven't tried 16/16, but I've tried 12/12 and it felt quite a bit softer, so much so that I dialed them back to 10/10 after a few days. To me 10/10 offers quite a bit of firmness without being bouncy for street driving. Like I said, if I'm doing a road trip I'd probably use a softer setting like 12/12.

I've installed the mono sports and they seem pretty good. Coming from a BMW running Ohlins Road and Track setup the MonoSports are bit for more setup for track with the included rates (8/9k). So far I've found 8-9 from full stiff front and 9-10 in the rear the most comfortable for street. It appears I can get close to 4 degrees camber front, right now I have it set to 3.2 and 2.2 zero toe front and rear.

I've gone back to stock sways from a 22 whitline full soft (way too big of a bar on this car best to go with higher individual rates) and Perrin 16 full soft with stock struts and Swift Spec R springs on NT01's. I have about 6 track days with this setup at Sebring for a baseline to compare the mono sports too.

I'll be autox in a week and a track event in a month and will have a bit more feedback.

Still having a headache deciding whether to get the tein monosport or just the street flex. For the price point, im leaning towards the street flex more.
