Homelink Mirror Accessories P/N?
I bought a used homelink mirror off eBay. However, it is the mirror only. I know about the adapter kit I'll need, but I will also need the wiring harness that plugs into the back of the mirror, as well as the little plastic cover.
Anyone know where I can find the part numbers for those? |

My local dealer looked it up for me (I went down to the parts department) and the part number is H501SAJ010. It was just under $11 with tax. When it arrives I will let you know if it is the correct part (which I suspect it is). My suggestion is to just go down to your local dealer and have them look up what you need. |

I hope they ordered me the correct part. The cost was the same. |

I had researched this exact topic a month ago and came up with both those numbers. No one I spoke to at Subaru dealerships could tell me the difference between them. The only thing I could find is that the **G030 harness works for some Gentex mirrors with the compass as well, which mine has. So I figured I'll cover my bases. I should be getting all those parts this week, and I'll report back.
The harness cover is the "plastic cover." There are two sizes, this being the short one that fits our cars. The mirror adapter is common with all Gentex mirrors. |

I think I'll wait to see which one of you get the correct parts!

OK, so I got my harness in. It appears to be the correct harness. See the photos below. I plan to install everything tonight if I can get home before dark to see if everything works. I am a little worried that the mart name does not mention homelink. Cost of the harness was just under $11 |

Back to report the harness I got is correct. Everything appears to be working. I have not synced it to my garage doors or gate, but when I press a Homelink button it flashes red.

Got the parts yesterday! I took a bunch of pictures for you all, but I could not get good lighting in my house last night. Sorry in advance for the shitty contrast.
These are the parts I ordered. The first two are what you will want in addition to the cable that btoast confirms works. Here are the wires on the back of my harness. I think mine has an extra little loop. Either way it won't matter, none of it fits my mirror. I bought the Tacoma mirror expecting this might happen. The Tacoma harness has over 10 wires on it! I will have to figure out what each one goes to. I have already started looking on tacomaworld.com forums, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up taking the mirror apart to map the pcb. Too many pins to mate with the Subaru connector. Here is everything that came with the mirror I bought. It has a bunch of extra little plastic bits for concealing the cables, which I like a lot. Here is how they fit on the mirror |

Thanks for the pics. I'm still debating whether to buy it or keep my JDM mirror. I had homelink on my previous cars and I kinda miss it, and my garage door opener is scratching my visors.

Thanks for posting the pics. Looks like the harness may be right, but the mirror you have is wrong?
@btoast does the harness look like the one you got? |

The harness part number I got and posted is the correct harness for the BRZ Homelink mirror. I have my mirror installed and everything is working great. I have two of the garage door openers programmed, the compass works, and it auto-dims at night. The harness part number you will need is H501SAJ010. |
