Correct. I work for PPG as an engineer (for those of you who dont know...they make car paint among other paints) and it depends on the company. For example BMW spends a ton of money just to try and match the plastic parts to the metal parts. Subaru doesnt care as much

My front bumper matches 1000 times better now that I got it resprayed... it's actually a miracle because the hood and fenders didn't get blended.

I noticed it when I took her home, but just asked about it now, and yeah the sun finally hit the east coast this week. 😎

I also had my front bumper /replaced/repainted... it is a better match now than the rear bumper....
