I don't recommend doing it. It's a huge pain in the ass to do it right and make it look good. You'd be better off buying Tom's and selling your stock tails as-is.

Happened to me Thursday last week in the same spot, luckily for me it was only tire rubber and I was able to rub most of it off, will get the rest off next time I wash it. Now, Im thinking about getting a camera.

Love it. Really wanted to do this to mine, decided to go with carbon fiber instead though.

You're not the person that commented on my how to video on Youtube about removing the pieces were you? Haha, but looks good. Doing my red was the best thing I've done for the interior.

Nope wasn't me. But good idea with making a YouTube video. I can see some people being afraid of taking some of these parts off.

How do you like that exhaust? Thinking of picking that up myself.

Personally I enjoy it. It is my DD and I've put 200 miles on ot since purchase. I expected it to sound like an exhaust and be louder and that's what I got. I've noticed that my stock sound/radio system feels like it lacks any bass though, because my ears are occupied by the sounds of the N1 so I guess that is the next upgrade 😋. I get a lot of looks/ thumbs up and neighbors haven't complained. My sister who usually hates any noise like this actually enjoyed the sound. Note that I bought this used and presumably broken in with the carbon build up. You can probably expect it to be rather loud when new.

The one word I can use to explain the sound is "boomy". I enjoy it this far though!

Just installed the flap over the kit once they were installed. I'll take a closer pic when the weather is nicer so you can see how it was mounted.
