Let my car sit out in the sun at work today... kinda underwhelmed by the AC honestly. Maybe time to invest in a shade. Texas heat is too much

My car is in the sun almost all the time and the AC gets really cold, really fast. Maybe cause my car is white it helps with the heat? Maybe the dealership can recharge your AC, or whatever it is that they do. I had to have it done to my Gen Coupe. Any time it was above 85 degrees the AC would just blow semi-cool.

$59.95. Make sure they don't use air tools re-torquing. They sheared one of my wheel stud bolts because of it.

Funny you say that. One of my wheel studs broke while here.

Ya, be sure to tell them torque by hand ahead of time. It's a pain in the ass to get a replacement in. Work itself is easy, going and getting the right size to match sucked.

I had a feeling one of the lug nuts was getting stuck. It was getting harder and harder to remove when I'd work on the car. I went ahead and got a replacement stud from the dealership. Gonna take it by a shop in San Marcos who said they'd replace the stud for $40. Not too bad. I gotta buy a new set of lug nuts though. Thinking about getting a set from Speed By Design.

By the way, I got those Radial Bearings installed on my coilovers. They worked like a charm! No more spring binding!! And Jerry only charged me $100 for installation AND alignment. Sweet deal! Such a good shop.

All it is, taking a hammer, knocking the old one out. Stacking washers and tightening the new one in, except they'll use air tools instead of the washer method. Real simple. You have to remove the caliper to get to the wheel stud to knock it out.

Exact same comment I was going to make. I've been very pleased with how fast it cools compared to other cars.. Less than 1 minute after start its cranking out cold air.

I have the Subaru window reflector for the windshield (works great though a little unwieldy in a small car) and supposedly heat reducing tint.

Unfortunately at work I always have to park in direct sun.

A window tint will not reduce how hot your car gets inside, rather it makes it take longer to get there. If it is sitting in the sun for more than 30 minutes to an hour, it will be the same temp inside.
