First off let's talk film manufactures. XPEL and Suntek are the only way to go, both are awesome films and great companies to work with that really stand by their product. XPEL and Suntek is where it at!

I've been installing for 6 years and took 2nd place at xpels installation competition, and I don't even install XPEL 95% of the time.

Because we don't feel for the Xtreme installs we do that XPEL is the most conducive to our needs. It's very temperature sensitive while being installed. I can't always ask the weather to be at a perfect 70 degrees everytime I'm installing XPEL.
Suntek stretches better with a less chance of marking and is not temperature sensitive.
I made that comment about not installing it 90% of the time because I kicked everyone's ass at the competition with a film I normally don't use.
If a customer calls and is dead balls set on 3m, XPEL, Avery nano fusion, what ever, we will install it for them.

Another thing. Suntek is 100% made in the USA.
XPEL couldn't tell us where they're film is made. We sent one of our new guys to them for their "training class" and he saw all around they're facilities in Texas and basically they are just a distributer. They get the film from somewhere else then cut it down into roll sizes and ship it out.
They're self healing property isn't as good as Suntek

Just to chime in with experience on having a clear bra - I have XPEL Ultimate full bumper coverage, mirrors and lights. It is EXTREMELY glossy, arguably more glossy than the factory paint.

While I was picking my car up, the installer was doing a full Suntek wrap on a black 370 and I couldnt believe how deep and glossy the paint looked.

Really, I kinda like the look of the Suntek a bit more, but the owner of the protective film company insisted on XPEL for white, as it would not yellow as Suntek might.

Cuz someone asked for install pics. Sure I'll get you more finished car pics. I don't have many close ups tho, it's mainly like the whole car in the photo ya know. I can take some pictures tomorrow as I'm doing cars and get them up for you.

Xpel Ultimate is a savior! Saved my bumper from a mile long track of gravel left on the freeway by some damn truck. You could hear the rocks hitting the car but no damage left behind!

I full front end wrap all of my cars, well my buddy does it for me. I have had a lot of cars wrapped after paint work from my shop in xpel. Those who say it doesn't look right on darker cars, there is no visible difference between my hood/bumper/fenders and the rest of my asphalt frs. And that's coming from an automotive painter. I also wrapped my old Gti bumper 5 days after paint. 3 years later I removed the film to paint the bumper a different color during my car part out. Zero ill effects on the paint. Even with the film install less than a week after I painted it

I'm also a fellow clear bra installer, covering the San Diego area. I agree with ghostshield, I've also worked with different films on the market and I feel that xpel is the best option. It looks like you do great work ghostshield, keep it up!

I've attatched some pictures of my Audi allroad that has a full wrap in Xpels stealth film. This film is the same as Xpels clear film but with a matte finish.

Right on man! Yeah stealth is really nice to work with. Check out Sunteks PPFC film. Really good stuff! Only prob I've had with Suntek is that their matte film isn't tacky enough, so we use stealth for matte wraps.

I'm not paying 1200$ to be a vendor on ft86 club so IM NOT throwing out our business name or phone number and what not

Stoked to see other installers and people with possitove stuff to say about clear bra!
I truly believe in it and will never drive another car with out it!

That Xpel Stealth looks pretty nice on the Audi. Any pictures of it on a black car?

Great thing about matte PPF is it will change the look of your car plus protect the paint! Sunteks stealth is self healing aswell.
