^ how much do those go for?

oh...dear god man. Talk about another huge leap. You people who are cross shopping cars that are $10k apart are weird as hell lol.

The price is just right for me. This is Scion's halo car, a brand new sports car platform designed from the top down to be fun to drive - I can't wait. Considering the Yen exchange rate I'm surprised the price isn't even higher.

IMHO the price is good, better then I expected. Look at other similiar cars Honda sold tons of S2K's and they were stickered at 34K. I will def be looking at the FRS over the BRZ though, getting close to 30K I would just pick up another EvoX I mean 2-3 price difference for so much more car\technology it would be hard to stick with the BRZ even though I like the RWD lightweight platform better.

I was considering the frs but this pricing just ruined it for me. Not worth it for a base frs imo. Ill now be looking at the genesis, mustang and a couple used cars.

Your Hope avatar must have been a prelude to this day!

24,200 msrp is not bad! I wonder how much invoice will be, assuming $1000 less would be 23,200! One more reason to wait!

+1...

price is not bad at all considering how bad the USD is doing... this price equates to ~2 million yen in japan, which is a damn steal for this car... i know it's not very relevant, but still...

I can't wait for all the price weenies to drop off this forum and it turns into one for actual enthusiasts... Please STFU, go buy Civics and Mustangs, and leave the rest of us alone. You clearly don't get it. Thank you and goodbye! You want a Miata with a cloth top and a 5spd gearbox and nothing else? I won't call you a hairdresser if you do! Want a FWD hot hatch for less? Have fun with that. Want a tire smoking pony car that gets scared in the corners? 'Merica! Want an overweight, underpowered coupe made by Koreans? Sure! Want a used sports car with no warranty and a few miles for a bargain? Hope you brought your tools! I know where my money's going, and that's that.

Interestingly enough, my 1987 MR2 base price was $12,548 or $25,147 in today's dollars. My 1987 MR2 is also the most fun (not fastest) car I've ever driven. It weighed 2,350lbs, made 112bhp and 97lb/ft and 0-60'd in 8.6sec, with manual windows, manual steering, manual locks, and no LSD, A/C, ABS, ESC, cruise control, or anything else! I think this car will deliver the goods, and I haven't even driven the damn thing yet!
