Cool...thanks for the good info! How would a 255 fit on 9.5? Also will I get any rubbing with a 255?

Another question, do wheels vary from company like shoe sizes? Meaning can a 18x8.5 +38 from one company have more poke than say the same size wheel from another company?

And no, wheel sizes are normed. The only thing is that because of the desing some wheels have spokes that are bent differently, so some have spokes that go "outside" of the outer ring of the wheel.

The issue you have is trying to stay on stock suspension, then the 9.5" wide wheels will be very tight due to factory coils. Switching to coilovers gets you additional inside clearance for the wider wheel. Plus the extra camber from lowering pulls the top outside of the wheel/tire in, so that it's tucked. If you're concerned about the roads, then invest in better dampers, don't cheap out on a crap set of coilovers, you will regret the ride. For a compromise, an 18x9 +35 wheel will allow you to fit a 255/35R18 perhaps all around, or even 245F/265R if you want to go staggered. |

http://www.racecompengineering.com/i...-and-fr-s.html Not sure on range of adjustment, but typically most coilovers will get you from stock height down to 2 or 3 inches lower. |

Hi,
I am going to be getting the eibach pro springs installed in the next few weeks. Would these specs work? I used the wheel/tire application and it looks good to me lol.... Ride height: -1 inch 1) (squared) 18x8.75 // 245/40 +40 or 2) 18x9 rear @ 245/40 +40 and 18x8.75 front 235/40 +45 |

But you have the wrong tire size, your should be looking at a 245/35R18 all around. 245/40 is too tall. With a squared setup, you'll be able to much more easily rotate your tires, otherwise you're limited to rotating from one side to the other on the same axle. And if you get directional tires, then you'd have to unmount the tire, flip it, remount and install on the other side of the axle. Keep it simple. |

hey guys , i know it's propably asked already several times - i ordered wheels with those specifications :
8.5x19 offset 44 i think i m fine in the rear - but will i have problems in the Front? i m lowered on Eibach 25mm front / 20mm rear or do i need to prepare to go for Coilovers? (delivery week for my weels is the 23rd Week) i plan to fit nothing scary in tire width i'd like to go with 225/35 oder 235/30s all around. greetings |

Still a very high offset, so the rears will be quite tucked in but should clear. |

Nub here: Would I need to purchase anything such as a spacer if I got wheels with a different offset (17x7.5, 45mm offset, 6.02" backspacing)?

Only add spacers if you want to move the wheels outward a bit, but then I would just buy different wheels if that's what I wanted to do. |
