What I want to know is how many in this thread are going to trade for the "new" one, regardless of what it ends up being. It's not even two years old, and already you clowns have them thinking about fucking up what makes it special.

They don't have to trade up though. The point is to let others get a refreshed car (just speculation) while those with older models can still do the same if they wish without trading their car in for a new one.
If you're just referring to special limited series then I get what you're saying.

When did we get 100,000 twins on the roads?
Hard to see where those complaints about poor sales are coming from if we have 100k cars on the road! The other sales thread (which might be North America-only) does show only about 45k total.... |

I suspect the FR-S/BRZ will be a victim of it's own success. I look forward to driving a stock first-gen ten years from now, when the majority, sadly, look like the typical shit-box moldy-rice Civic. Last edited by Tromatic; 03-07-2014 at 07:46 PM. |

sales metrics are backward looking. if anything, as some had pointed out already, the sub-optimal sales metrics should be a huge motivation for toyota to develop a better FRS/BRZ/GT86.

Yet in another thread here, sales numbers are 100K plus. If so, the FR-S/BRZ/86 is nothing but a success.

@Tromatic
If it came in a Baby Blue color, or Canary Yellow I miiiggght consider trading it in. But that would be the only reason. Hey, what if they decide to do a special edition two-tone black/white paint job and release it as a limited edition? Would anybody jump on that? |

Wow this is great news, although I still love my stock FR-S.
Should we start a thread on what this new one is and then let monogram series buyers start saying they got 'shafted'? Seems like that's the trend the forum has been going... Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |
