Thanks everyone for the kind words, means a lot. Feeling better today, just had to sleep off the shock. I had never been in a car accident and it was disorienting. My headache seems to have subsideded but I'll be keeping tabs on it.
As for the car, it was towed back home for now. Sucks it had to sit in humiliation for everyone in my neighborhood to stop and stare - my fault for putting it on the spot. As you can see the wheels are bent in and I'm not sure what the damages are beyond the obviously trashed stock wheels. The C pillar is crushed causing the trunk to have some alignment issues. The engine got fired up by me only to sound like its choking or coughing, perhaps an exhaust leak. The interior is a mess as the side airbag was deployed. It hit the visor and my rearview camera/mirror screen and basically destroyed that. There are probably tons of other little things but it just pains me to even look so I'm just hiding at home until I can speak to the insurance adjuster. I've got full coverage and a spotless record, not even a speeding ticket! (Knock on wood). Not sure if anyone has advice on how to deal with an adjuster particularly if my car was modded to some degree.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

The adjuster is usually not concerned with any mods from my experience. They usually assume the car is factory.

Keep your head up. It could happen to anyone at anytime. In the end you yourself is ok and a car is just a car that can be replaced.

Glad you are OK. I cringed when the other poster said to "sleep it off"
As said above, any head injury and you are supposed to stay awake as long as possible and NO ASPRIN!. Ibuprofen or naproxen sodium (aleve) to reduce swelling. I have to be the first to ask: Were all the nannies active (did you disable traction control)? |

The adjuster cannot prejudge nor discriminate based on your mods or what nots. I would give the adjuster the smallest amount of info necessary. S/he cannot pass onto your ins that "due to mods... racer..." type of statements. It'll be up to the ins co what the value, cause, and repercussions maybe. With the new good samaritan rule the ins are bandwagon-ing on (one free accident per se), your record may let you get away with this. May, not will. They'd rather have your loyalty than lose you, esp if you had a long clean record with them. Besides, your mods are pennies now if it doesn't 'provide' a better than factory automobile. And plus, to have your mods covered, you would have need to claim it. IMO, replace what mods you can with factory now. That way, resell your mods if the ins gives you nil for it or total your car (TBH, it looks totaled to me - a bent wheel can spell trouble in the frame of the car).
I have stock tails, front fog light bezels, and I don't know what else incase you need it.

Thanks, thankfully I retained everything on my car. I will take things off to be safe. They haven't come to take pics yet, so I do have a window to remove stuff I want to keep whether or not it's totaled. I just can't believe this happened, at 30ish mph too!
