Us guys in the Midwest have to drive 15+ hours each year just to attend 1 to 2 shows either in the east coast or the west coast and yet you never see us complain. Us guys here are dedicated. For those that are not willing to drive more than 4 hours for anything are not that dedicated to show up and contribute to the scene. Bro, I live in the Midwest! I know! I have to drive three hours to get to any small event in Chicago, and I don't have a problem with that.

But we have to look at the statistics front of us. When we look at our member base and their listed locations, the majority are in Cali/Vegas, the next largest is east coast, and then comes the Midwest and the south. Our goal is to pull in as many members as possible and statistically speaking, it has to be in one of the two "86 hubs".

As much as I would love to hold a Chicago event (it would make my life so much easier), it doesn't make sense on paper...

Then I vote Tennessee as the location because Import Alliance showed how successful of a meeting spot that was for people from Minnesota to New York to Florida all met up there. It caters to all Midwest, East Coast, and South East regions.

I can get behind this. Drastically reduces my chances of coming, but could work. What about Bristol? Big motorsport Hot Spot, and its in the far east of the state, putting it much closer to the coast.

So after some research, while possible to get one of the twins as a rental, its not very likely. Hertz may be your best bet, but if they can't get you a twin (which the process would cost quiet a bit), you'd just end up in a Mustang or Camaro (which most of the rental companies have). Also depends on location. But, IMHO, its probably not worth the money.

I'm from CT but I'd vote somewhere in NJ. They have a bunch of tracks to pick from plus everyone from the tri-state area would go and all of the surrounding states.

Atlanta has a lot to offer and if you don't want to drive the Dragon because of cops there are a lot of nice mountain roads north of Atlanta.

We could reserve a day at Atlanta Motorsports Park.

This is on my list of things to do!

This stretch of road appears to have been built with the FR-s in mind.

My Car can be of Disposal to you if you do happen to choose a city closer to DC. Not bribing or anything
