I also vote for TOTD. We could stay at Fontana Dam and if that is filled up then the overfill can crash in Robinsville.

I personally don't see the first East Coast to be large and now would be the time to do TOTD because next year will have even more people.

New Orleans!!!!

Awesome city, lots to see, and we also have a top-of-line motor park that's still being expanded! http://www.nolamotor.com/

That motor park recently held the largest gathering of LFA's in the country, if not the world! If we get enough numbers, I'm sure we can hold a special event at the park. We also got a pretty large C&C community that ranges from here to Baton Rouge and Lafayette.

Hm... It's all depends. Last yr, RTA had 86 challenge on Sunday, so we did our event on Friday & Saturday.

As much as I would love to do Chicago, 80% of people would have to drive 15+ hours to get there...

The two places with the highest concentration of members is East and West coast...

And this is why the Midwest is behind in the game. Everyone ahead on the East Coast and West Coast on builds but no focus on the Midwest ever. Soon my friend if any indication of 2013 has shown what Chicago has been up to, you guys will enjoy what's to come. We already thankful for the East coast alliance we had build up in the past 2 years with SNTRL and Tuner Evolution guys. Hope to make the best out of this trip to the East once a location and date is announced. Thanks.

Again this is the biggest misconception that the East Coast and West Coast guys think of the Midwest as a joke. We have a ton of crazy up and coming JDM builds. All the heavy hitter Varis cars in Chicago, Super clean S30 in black, along with Amuse 370z and many more to come. Us guys in the Midwest have to drive 15+ hours each year just to attend 1 to 2 shows either in the east coast or the west coast and yet you never see us complain. Us guys here are dedicated. For those that are not willing to drive more than 4 hours for anything are not that dedicated to show up and contribute to the scene. Most of the guys you see that are willing to travel far and beyond are usually diehard guys that love what they do and love to share their experiences with the world.

That being said Indianapolis, Louisville, St. Louis and Columbus are all great locations. Indy in May is nuts if you wanted to tie an 86 meet to something like CARB day or Bump Day.
Funny side story, I was in VB for the Shamrock Marathon a couple years back and saw someone leave their sunroof open in their parked car outside the registration venue. With thunderstorms forecast. Within a few minutes of us entering the venue, the skies opened. I would not want to be that person leaving the show.

And can't you see the amazing line of 30-40 86s pulled over by the cops, receiving traffic citations? /sarcasm Sadly, I have never been to the TOTD, firstly because there are a lot of great driver's roads not far from me, and secondly because the tail isn't what it used to be.

Call the rental places ahead of time and see which one can get you an 86 to drive as a rental

LOL I wish. I highly doubt any rental car place has it.

You'd be correct. But they may be willing to work with you. Not promising anything, but I have a friend in the industry that could at least tell me if this is possible.

I second this.. We should do this somewhere in the middle of the east coast and VIA is sweet.
