Looks great!

I haven't looked closely at what my shop did, but I had told them I wanted the lower holes for the radiator to be drilled another inch forward, into the metal support, which gains another full inch of clearance.

We also used the stock upper mounting tabs, with the holes widened to move the upper mounting forward by 1/4"

It looks like you gained most of your clearance with the modified upper mounts. I might be mistaken, but on my car, the upper coolant hose was too short to allow much movement forwards, but it's easy enough to add a 1'' longer piece of tubing.

I have a bit more clearance than in your pics.

I agree with you that the downpipe could easily be shaped differently to allow a LOT more clearance. This however would put the DP very close to the intake pipe (maybe why FB designed it this way?) and the MAF sensor could be on the side, or on top of the intake pipe instead of under the intake pipe.

You might have more clearance because you have the stage 1 downpipe. I think it's slightly different for stage 2. But I think we gained about 3/4 inch on top, 1/2 inch on bottom.

I actually like the MAF position, out of the way and perfectly positioned for tuning, spot on, dead nuts.

Mike, what crash bar is that btw? I might want one

That's the bar I have and I believe they're the only ones that make one

The crash bar will be installed shortly.

Car's been in the shop for well over 2 months, and on Tuesday or Wednesday the shop will be finished tuning.

I still have gauges, and some other things that need to be installed, so I'm going to get the car back, drive it on the initial tune for a little bit, and then install the last bits and tune for top power.

I'm going to be very curious with how you like the tune FLI came up with. Im looking for a local tuner for when I go FI and Ive ruled WORKS out and am just waiting to see what Vishnu does as far as FI. Having FLI here in town though would be my obvious first choice, I've just heard mixed reviews with Mile's tuning.

...I'm also going to need a ride

Its about a 1000 mile round trip for me, but if I had a decent base tune to get me down there, I'd definitely be for it.

I'm planning a trip down to Delicious as well. Would love to see how @mike the snake's car works out with the hydra.
