Well that was from a 3 lap test they had in a GT 86, so you could be right. I would love to see low 6 secs for 0-60MPH since I ordered mine a few weeks ago!
Based on a various test drives I have seen it looks like its quite rapid and will hit 3rd gear in less than 7 seconds. |

No Man, just predicted price of around £26k - thats on the road pricing... I think i'll be $25k + TAXs in the US. Partly because it a lower spec interior than the UK and we have 20% TAX.

I was 1 second out with my guess of 5.9 sec. Whatever, my car is going to be even faster if I manage to rebuild the engine and lighten the car.

0-100 km/h in 6.9sec
so 0-60 miles per hour around 6.5sec - still not bad |

Don't worry people, you guys should know manufacture suggested 0-60 times is always understated.

The closest car on the market to the 86 is the Miata. The Miata does 0-60 in 7.4 seconds. If you want a fast car, go somewhere else.

I ran the numbers (weight and HP) through some online 0-60 calculators and I got numbers ranging from 5.9 to 6.4. I think 6.9, even to 100kph (62mph) is underrating the car. We'll all find out in due time.
