I dipped my stock wheels and less than a week later I had a piece of dip hanging off of the wheel. After a week and a half so much dirt has stuck to the wheels that it just looked goofy. I took all the dip off and purchased a set of wheels instead. Just my experience.

Complete PD noob here... Am I looking at it right, he didn't cover the optics at all, just some tape in the middle to make peeling it off easily?
How about the black plastic parts (like the skirt, lower rear bumper, etc.)? I don't see that he covered those?

Everywhere else you mask if all about saving dip, you can choose to spray over all the glass and peel the dip off later but that's a lot of dip you're removing. You have to spray it full on onto anywhere that isn't masked (lights and whatnot) for it to peel off easily and anywhere you can mask off will save you dip in the long run. |
