Hope everyone has a good Xmas. It's been pretty quiet in here lately...

How's everyone doing with winter driving? Any good/bad stories?

Personally I find that these stock BRZ tires are horrible in the snow, even on an AWD Impreza.

I'm very happy to have Blizzaks. Driving yesterday would have actually been sort of fun if there were no other cars on the road. As it was I was just constantly worried someone else was going slide into me.

I was thinking we should try to get some of us together to hang out after the holidays (even those storing their cars for winter). Brunch, dinner, or maybe do something like go bowling.

Count me in. Townhall Lanes is pretty awesome though their website appears to have been created by a 10 year old. Seriously, wow.

Have been driving daily with General Altimax Arctics. So far I got no complaints! Didn't get into any tricky situations. Only time I got stuck was on some ice in our parking lot. A little wiggling and I was free.

My windows have been frosting over way too much but following neutron's advice - I have no more issues with that.

I have mixed feeling about Townhall Lanes. We just finished our league there. It's a cool place but the layout of the bowling area is horrible. It's hard to talk and you're always getting in each other's way. Food is pretty good though and even though I can't drink the beer is great.

I'm open to bowling whenever. We could always hit one of the many Brunswick Ghetto-Zones in the area.

I was thinking maybe a weekend morning/afternoon. It's so hard to get in at nights this time of year.

Anyone else ever been to Pinstrips in Edina? I went there once it was really nice and good food.
