Think I went a bit too much..?

Hey guys,

Just got my hood and canards installed and I don't really know whether they're good or I went over the limit. I mean I like it, the car looks more aggressive and angry and that's what I want but some friends are sayin that the hood is just too much. Car is built to have a track look, sometimes tracked too so yeah yeah function > form. Crappy pics attached:

UPDATE:

Removed eyelids and tint.

^ What he said. Looks like you already have your headlights blacked out. You really don't need those eyelids. Personally, I never liked the look of those anyway on our cars because the shape of our headlights are aggressive enough on their own anyway.

And you should paint the hood, and possible just leaving the vents as carbon. It's a mean look.

Hmm, tempting now that 3 mentioned the eyelids.

Wow, that appears to be slightly the same hood as mine and looks awesome.

It's over the top because you've barely got 200hp to put to the ground. Unless you've got an EKanoo 2JZ under there.

Well, maaaaaybe

To be honest the main reason why I got the hood is because of the vents because in summer it gets really hot and heat escaping the engine bay is a great help. Plus I've seen C63's and GTR's with carbon fiber all over them and I thought it wouldn't look overkill, if you ask me for my own opinion about the car now, I'd say I'd just stick to not adding anything carbon fiber anymore because THEN that would be overkill. Painting it.. kinda kills the purpose of buying a carbon fiber hood but yeah. The car is for show too so it won't hurt having a carbon fiber hood for under 200hp.

Thank you that made me feel much better than thinking about throwing the hood away in the storage room.

Since you're asking for opinions....those eyelids are too much for me. The hood is nice, I like the painted look better, but it's your ride, and if you're happy, then that's one more person driving an 86.

Paint the good or ditch the eyelids. Don't think much else is needed I think it looks pretty mean. Eyelids just stand out against the hood and might look cheap to some.
