It's a V10 Viper block. Casters would be nice if you have to move it a lot but if you can get your hands on an aluminum block it won't be much heavier than any other coffee table.

Here is what it looks like finished:

Do you just want a hummer because you like them? Lower Michigan barely gets snow anymore, so the off road capabilities will mainly go to waste.

I like them and I need something that has the ability to tow a small trailor and be more reliable than the subaru. There off road capabilities are really not a big concern. Also due to there being a finite amount of them they hold their value.

Why go hummer over a more typical ram/silverado/F-150 or yukon/suburban/explorer? At least in those you are measuring in miles per gallon, not gallons per mile.

The hummer is a 5 cyl which gets around 20mpg highway. It's on par with all the other trucks for miles per gallon. It is more of a myth than anything that it is worse on gas. I have a few friends that have them and they switched from range rovers to get better gas milage.

Yeah I like them plenty of space for passenger easy to drive and I don't have to be worried if I get assigned an abandon farm on private roads that haven been touched all winter. I live on the boarder of lapeer county and I often get assigned homes in the sticks. The subaru is good in the snow but lacks the clearance to get over some of the roads I have to go down. If I had a job in the city it would be no issue but the big money is out appraising large farms.

Hope everyone had a good holiday. I celebrated by buying some wheels for my BRZ. Should look good this coming spring. Rays Gram Light 57Time Attack edition in stock specs so I'll still stay in stock class for autox.

^Nice, what's the weight?
Care to point me to where you got'em? Curious about the cost.
On the fence about what to get. There are some used Centerlines on CL near me, but that light. OAKOS has a clearance set I like, or get something else...

Not sure on the weight. I'm getting them from a member on NASIOC for $700 shipped. They come with the center caps (not pictured) as well so I think I got a good deal. I'll weigh them when they arrive. Should be equal or less than stock.
