So summary, if your okay with working with someone thats new to the platform he is definitely an option. And thats not a bad thing. If you want someone who had pushed the limits on the specific platform call Joe. You are more than welcome to tell him Marin gave you his recommendation.

I didn't realize Goodspeed was tuning this platform in-house.
They are not listed on ECUTek's site as a tuner.

No, i don't have any boosted experience on the FA20, But it's not much diferent than a normal Subaru.. just have to be weary of the CR and getting the Direct Injection right. I'll tune customers that are boosted after I boost my own. And it's on my short list.

Yeah that direct injection just swings it a tad bit. Especially since the DI isn't as consistant on the high output as a port system. I'll be jumping in and screwing around with that soon as well =x

Tip: be careful with that E85... easy to pass MBT with DI alcohol =x The knock wall is basically non-existant.

That is very true NA. I could take my LS6 all the way to 31 Degrees of timing no knock but it sure as hell didn't make any more power. 27-28 was the sweet spot on the Dyno.

Just to put into perspective.... That was close to the timing I had on my car with boost... E85 is such a resistant fuel, and then you have the DI system dropping cylinder temperatures like crazy and distributing the fuel nicely... Its a recipe for disaster haha. Def need to have that tested on the dyno for safe limits. I opened a "bearings thread" and we got onto the topic, in which someone posted charts of passing MBT and the cylinder pressure effects you get are pretty drastic.

Also note i didn't tune my car so I dont know where MBT was for me.
