Sprintex reckon there's 15mm clearance with a 75mm pulley. They also recommend using uprated engine mounts if you're 'racing' the car.

Are there any strut bars that fit over these screws? Ie: Cusco one perhaps, or is there simply no room? Looked back lots pages don't see anyone with one....

hmmmm....
How about a phenolic upper plate replacement, to shield the blower from heat? That won't help the manifold much, but it has to be worth something and won't cause further clearance issues. You could trace the pattern and make a 2d piece to work with. ^^^Make that upper plate of phenolic, maybe?

You guys are on crack and wasting precious internets. Do you have any idea:
- How much air flows through each intake runner when at 200hp? - How much of that air is affected by the manifold temperature? - How much of an effect it actually has on the affected air? Obviously not. |

@KSpider, might have to stop by tomorrow and check out the tuning session. Saw some photos/video of the install. That twin-screw looks F**KING amazing exposed!

so far so good, delicious Tuning has got my Sprintex Intercooled up to 215whp and 181ftlb on 91oct.
Current intake temps run extremely high after 3 pulls, hence looking for ways to cool and get more air into the charger. Has anyone tried the HKS Intake Duct as yet? wondering if this would help give more air and keeping to a OEM look. |
