I've had catless cars/trucks for years and put over 200k miles on one(current owner has over 260k) and 120k miles on another with no adverse effects what so ever. Other than the occasional smell and noise it wont harm a thing on the car. Just make sure it's tuned correctly.

At this time the spacer is actually the proper way to deal with this issue if you want to pass OBDII emission checks.

Thanks.

I think if you have a header you should have a tune. But it won't get you through emissions testing.

I have not tried any of the above. This is just what I have gathered from my time on the forums.

Get a catted front pipe. That's my plan. not cat on the header and cat for the front pipe. Plus my perrin catback is resonated.

Now I have discovered a way to make this work for normal legal people who dont want a tune or CEL. Get a catless header and buy the AVO catted front pipe because it include an extra bung for a wideband, but you could use this for the o2 sensor. Total cost=(536+625)1161. Or another route with same/similar results and no splicing could be ~1200-1300 (catted header and either catted or less front pipe).

Yes that could also work. What would be the best way to plug the original o2 port. A bolt of some sort?
